The candidate is primarily responsible for both proactive identification and remediation of key operational risks within Asset Service Utility, ensuring compliance with the Bank`s internal and external regulatory requirements. The role entails the following key duties:
1. facilitate risk meetings to review key risk indicators (depot, nostro etc) and to set performance targets for key processes
2. work with the line managers to undertake root cause analysis
3. regular independent front-to-back process reviews to ensure the control environment is operating effectively
4. assist line managers to devise and implement solutions to close control gaps and audit issues
5. reporting at senior management level (incl Operations, Control hub and Front Office)
The candidate will be required to interface with the Business, Controllers, Internal Audit and Technology to ensure control requirements are met, solutions properly designed & implemented and progress tracked & reported. This person will need to be able to work autonomously & drive certain projects. It is essential that the person is a proven self starter with good presentation /report writing skills.

Establish/update procedures and desk Instructions for all functions currently under your control, ensuring adherence to FIM and following documented best practice wherever possible.
